We are implementing a new procedure on Monday, February 10, 2003, for those FirmSoft users that have forgotten their FirmSoft passwords between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. (CST) Chicago time.  The users must call the GCC at 312/456-2391. GCC staff will ask the user for their existing user e-mail address currently on file, for verification purposes.  This new security requirement has been added to prevent the risk of any non-authorized users accessing your firm�s order information.

To facilitate this new procedure, we are requesting that each firm using FirmSoft, email a list of their �after hour� FirmSoft users, along with their user ids and individual e-mail addresses, no later than Thursday, February 6^th.     

In the event that one of your �after hours� FirmSoft users forget their password, please have the user call the GCC at (312) 456-2391 and select Option 2 �All other GLOBEX inquiries�.  Upon receipt of the call, GCC staff will request their User ID. The caller should identify themselves as an after-hours FirmSoft user, and provide the GCC with their name and the email address on file. The GCC will then use the e-mail address on file to communicate the password information back to the user.
